Playing Water at Buntzen Lake

The last time I went to Buntzen Lake was about 2 years ago. At that time, I was having a lot of fun playing water with even my swimming-diaper on. But this time, a lot more fun with dad supervising around me. I went into the water twice, at least 30minutes each. :)

Great Vancouver Zoo Tour 2009

Had a tour at Great Vancouver Zoo today, a lot of fun. We rented a small bicycle and had the entire tour by ridding on it. Easy for the downhills but hard on the uphills. Dad even jump off the cart a few times to push it to the way up. And we took a lot of pictures, mostly for the animals though. In the end, we finished up the tour by having a train tour around the whole zoo.

Brothers or Sisters, or Brother and Sister are doing good

Mom did another big ultrasound yesteday and we all got chance seeing them through the screens. They are all doing very good. The ultrasound took over an hour to finish because they need to take all the measurements to make sure the twins are growing normally.

We eve saw four tiny feets that were only about 37mm big. No idea how big it is? See the same size hand drew foot on the letter-size paper with ruler right beside. Sorry for the bad drawing though. :)

Dental Surgery

It was scheduled a few months back and now it’s the time. Got up around 6:00 in the morning and arrived in hospital right at 6:30 as scheduled.

After finishing up some paper work, doing some basic test (the nurse who did the test wasn’t very friend, Whig made Sammy scared to cry), and putting on the hospital pajama, Sammy was wheel-chaired to the operation room. She seemed quite clam at that point. She’s got some little nice stickers that got her relaxed that she didn’t even cry when being sent to the room. We were told she will have a magic mask smell like strewberry put on her face that would finally put her in sleep.

Then we were sent off waitting in the waitting room. After about 1.5 hour uneasy waiting, doctor Cheung showed up telling us everything was very good.

Sammy woke up about 15 min later and started crying becase of the pain from the hand that has AV on it. But overall she’s fine after a couple of small throwup. Then we went home shortly after. On the way back to home, little one had another throwup but was fine after that and took a good 3-hour sleep after she got home.

Now, Sammy got 6 shinny teeth that she really likes in her mouth. She liked them so much that she didn’t even allow me to brush her teeth that night because she’s worried that that may come off by brushing them.
